Wittenberg Hosts Wide Range Of Summer Youth Sports Camps in 2013
Wittenberg will host summer camps for field hockey, football, boys basketball, girls basketball, tennis, volleyball and boys soccer in 2013.
The baskets in Pam Evans Smith Arena will see plenty of action again with a variety of summer camps in 2013.
Springfield, Ohio – Summer will be as busy as always around the Wittenberg University athletics complex in 2013 as eight different Wittenberg programs – men’s basketball, women’s basketball, field hockey, football, men’s soccer, softball, tennis and volleyball – are sponsoring youth camps this year.
The men’s basketball program is hosting individual skills camps June 23-26 and July 14-17, an offensive skills mini-camp June 27-28, a varsity/junior varsity team camp June 20-21, junior high/freshman team camps June 13-14 and June 17-18, a junior varsity team shootout June 22, and varsity team shootouts June 15 and July 13. The softball program is hosting two camps under the direction of first-year Head Coach Laura Matthews. An all-skills camp will run June 17-20, while a pitcher/catcher camp will take place June 21.
