Wooster, Ohio – The Wittenberg women's lacrosse team took on North Coast Athletic Conference rival Wooster, falling 15-9 to the Scots on the road from Wooster High School. The Tiger's battled back and forth in the first half, going into the break trailing Wooster 7-6. Emily Wadds led the goal scoring effort for the Tiger's, putting up three scores on five shots on the day, adding 16 draw control wins. Rachel Bernard would be the other Wittenberg attacker to record multiple scores, recording two scores on four shots.
Wooster tallied the first two goals coming out of the half. Wadds would post her third goal of the game to put the Tigers on the board in the second half. After two more Wooster goals, Gretchen Burkey took advantage of the free position shot with just about twelve and a half minutes left. Bernard would record her second goal, scoring the final Wittenberg goal of the game with just over ten minutes remaining.
