Molly Hopkins joined the Wittenberg Athletic Training staff in 2012 as an assistant athletic trainer, bringing with her numerous qualifications and ample expertise.
After graduating from Urbana University in 2009 with a bachelor of science degree in athletic training and sports science, Hopkins completed a master of science degree in education, specializing in adult and community education at Elmira College in New York.
While a student at Urbana, Hopkins underwent an orthopedic surgery rotation at the Springfield Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Institute in Springfield, Ohio, and also served an internship in cardiothoracic medicine at Springfield Regional Medical Center.
At Elmira, Hopkins worked as an assistant athletic trainer while completing her graduate degree. She went on to secure a position as an athletic trainer at the Ohio State University, primarily working with the men's gymnastics program.
Hopkins is certified by the National Athletic Trainers Association as well as the New York and Ohio boards, and is a certified Professional Rescuer in first aid, CPR and AED with the American Red Cross.
