166 Tiger Student-Athletes Earn a Spot on NCAC Dr. Gordon Collins Schola-Athlete Honor Roll

CLEVELAND, OH - Wittenberg placed 166 student-athletes on the 2025-26 North Coast Athletic Conference Dr. Gordon Collins Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll.
A conference-wide total of 1,456 student-athletes earned placement on the list. The honorees were selected from all nine full-time NCAC institutions and three affiliate members. Each full-time institution had at least 95 student-athletes named to the Honor Roll, with an average af about 159 per school.
To be honored, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore on an active roster in a sport sponsored by the conference and hold a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher. Eligible honorees are submitted by each school.
This year’s 1,456 student-athletes accounted for 1,603 total roster spots, which takes into consideration multi-sport student-athletes.
Football student-athletes led the way with 138 honorees, while women's track and field were right behind with 136. Baseball was represented by 116 for the third-most and men's track and field had 112. Rounding out the top five and the last sport with over 100 honorees is women's soccer with 109. The 2025-26 NCAC Dr. Gordon Collins Academic Honor Roll class features seven graduate students, 483 seniors, 453 juniors and 513 sophomores.
DePauw led the conference with 210 honorees, followed by Kenyon with 204 and Oberlin round out the top three with 201. Wittenberg's 166 honorees included are 55 sophomores, 49 juniors, 48 seniors and three graduate students. Categorized by sport, baseball, football, and men's soccer led the way with 16 each, followed by women's soccer with 15 and women's track and field ronded out the top five with 14.
