SPRINGFIELD, OHIO—Wittenberg split with the Tigers of DePauw on Saturday to move to 3-3 in NCAC play in 2017. The Tigers have been swinging hot bats as of late, as the red and white dropped DePauw 9-6 in game one. Game two was a bit of a different story, as DePauw jumped out to an 8-0 lead before winning 9-4. Before Saturday's contests, the Tigers paid tribute to the senior class of 2017, Dalton Boucher and Josh Kaplan.
GAME ONE SCORING BREAKDOWN
Bottom 3rd
- Patrick Kenny reached on a fielder's-choice, scoring Brad Malott on the play.
Bottom 4th
- Timmy Bates got a pitch he could handle for the Tigers, sending a ball over the left field wall for a home-run.
