Bio
Standout offensive lineman Matt Widemon remained a part of the Tiger football team in 2014 as a student assistant coach, and in 2015 he took over coaching the team's tight ends following his graduation in May 2015.
The Indianapolis, Ind., native, and graduate of Cathedral High School was named an honorable mention All-American by BeyondSportsNetwork and earned second-team All-Ohio honors from OhioCollegeFootball.com in 2013. That follow third-team All-Ohio recognition in 2012, and complemented two first-team All-North Coast Athletic Conference appearances in 2012 and 2013.
Widemon served as a team captain in 2012 and 2013, and in 2012 was named the team’s most improved offensive player. He earned letters in all four of his playing years from 2010-13.
