Gambier, Ohio – The Wittenberg field hockey team fell 2-1 in a hard-fought road contest to the Ladies of Kenyon College. Kenyon tallied both their goals in the first half of play, slotting their first goal at the sixteen-minute mark. The Ladies would record their final goal in the last minute of the first half, taking a 2-0 lead into the break. It would be Maddie Goelz, finding the back of the Kenyon cage in the 58th minute on the Riley Trexler assist.
GAME BREAKDOWN
- Channa Visseren led the Wittenberg offense taking four shots with three on target.
- Audrey Coler followed Visseren's effort up with two shots of her own, placing both on goal.
- Allie Purvis recorded six saves against eight shots in her complete game in goal for the Tigers.
