The fourth-ranked Wittenberg University Men’s Golf Team currently sits in third place with a team score of 587 (295-292) at the midway point of the 2019 NCAA Division III Men’s Golf Championships at the Keene Trace Golf Club in Kentucky.

After trailing Ohio Wesleyan by 11 strokes following day one of competition at the 2019 NCAC Men’s Golf Championships, the fourth-ranked Wittenberg Tigers posted a seven-under 281 on Sunday to finish the tournament with a team score of 583 and a nine-stroke advantage over Ohio Wesleyan for their 10th-straight NCAC title.

For the third tournament in a row and the fifth time this season, the fourth-ranked Wittenberg University Men’s Golf Team earned the team title at an event, this time finishing first out of six total teams over the weekend at Ohio Wesleyan’s Strimer Memorial Invitational, played at the par-71, 6,876-yard Oakhaven Golf Club in Central Ohio.

III’s fourth-ranked Tigers took first out of 12 teams the last two days (Apr. 14-15) at the Wright State Invitational, played at the par-70, 6,780-yard Heatherwoode Golf Club in Springboro, Ohio.

The fourth-ranked Wittenberg University Men’s Golf team made the trip to central Pennsylvania over the last two days (April 7-8) and didn’t disappoint as the Tigers brought home the team title at the annual Hershey Cup, played at the historic par-71, 6,605-yard Hershey Country Club in Hershey.

Competing against several of the nation’s top teams, the fifth-ranked Wittenberg University men’s golf team finished in a tie for sixth out of 18 total teams at the Savannah Harbor Classic, played at the par-72, 7,084-yard Club at Savannah Harbor in Georgia.
