Men's Lacrosse Picked To Finish Sixth In NCAC Preseason Coaches' Poll

CLEVELAND, OH — The Wittenberg men's lacrosse team was picked to finish sixth in the North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) in the 2025 Preseason Coaches' Poll, which was released on Monday, February 3.
The Tigers received 34 points, placing ahead of DePauw (29), Wabash (22) and Hiram (9).
Denison was picked as the favorite with six first-place votes and 78 points, and Ohio Wesleyan was second with two first-place votes and 71 points. Kenyon received the remaining first-place vote and was picked third with 66 points.
Wittenberg finished 8-5 overall and 3-5 in the NCAC in 2024, good for sixth place in the final standings.
The Tigers open their 2025 season on Friday, February 20, at home against Westminster. Start time for that game is 4 p.m. Wittenberg's NCAC opener is scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday, March 22, at Wooster. The NCAC Tournament opens with semifinals Wednesday, April 30, and the championship game on Saturday, May 3.
