Springfield, OH - Wittenberg Men's Lacrosse hosted the Denison Big Red at Edwards-Maurer Field, in hopes to get their season back on track after suffering four straight losses. The Big Red took control early and never looked back, lead=ving the Tigers in the dust and walking away with a 28-1 victory.
Denison held the Tigers scoreless for the first three and a half quarters of play before Ty Harris (Cincinnati, OH / Sycamore) scored with seven and a half minutes remaining in game time. Before the Harris goal, going back to their previous game, Wittenberg didn't have a goal in the last 101 minutes of play. Charlie Frederick (Chagrin Falls, OH / Chagrin Falls) performed well on faceoffs, winning 8-of-14, while Colten Simkins (Liberty Township, OH / Lakota East) won 6-of-14 faceoffs and led the team in ground balls with four.
