COLUMBUS, Ohio—Men's soccer continued their busy schedule on Sunday by making the trip to Columbus to take on the Crusaders of Capital University. Wittenberg ran into a buzz-saw that was Capital's offense, as the home team put six goals up on the Tigers on the night. Wittenberg managed to score a goal in the second half, coming off the foot of Teddy Price, but the Tigers did not have an answer for the Crusader offense, allowing three goals a half in the match.
GAME BREAKDOWN
- Jack Snider faced 15 shots on goal in the loss, as the sophomore collected nine saves in Sunday's efforts.
- Tucker Stas and Price led the Tiger offense with two shots on goal apiece in the loss.
- The Tigers managed to get 11 shots off against the Crusader defense, but turned around and allowed Capital to produce 23 shots in the match.
