Men's Soccer Picked Eighth in NCAC Preseason Coaches' Poll
Cleveland, OH – Wittenberg Men’s Soccer was picked to finish eighth in the North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) in the 2025 Preseason Coaches’ Poll, which was released on Tuesday.
The Tigers received 22 points in the poll to rank eighth out of nine teams. Defending regular-season conference champion Denison was picked as the favorite for this season taking six of the nine first-place votes and 78 points. Kenyon was second with two first-place votes and 71 points. Ohio Wesleyan claimed third with one first-place vote and 62 points.
The Tigers finished 4-7-3 overall and placed sixth in the NCAC with a 2-4-2 mark in 2024. Led by 10th-year head coach Dwight Burgess, the Tigers, after a successful summer trip to Spain, open their 2025 season on Aug. 29 at home taking on Heidelberg. They open NCAC play against Wabash at home on Oct. 4.
