Four Tigers Earn CSC Academic All-District Honors

SPRINGFIELD, OH - Four Wittenberg men’s soccer players were named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) NCAA Division III Soccer Academic All-District Team for the 2025 season, the organization announced on Tuesday.
The CSC Academic All-District Team recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. To earn CSC Academic All-District distinction, student-athletes must be a sophomore or above in class standing with a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of at least 3.50 while meeting athletic participation requirements.
In soccer, student-athletes must compete in 90 percent of the institution's matches played or must start in at least 66 percent of the institution's matches. Selected Academic All-District honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America ballot (noted by asterisk on release from CSC). First-, Second-, and Third-Team Academic All-America honorees will be announced on December 17.
The four Wittenberg players selected are senior Jackson Miller (Westerville, OH/ South), junior Collin LaVeck (Carroll, OH / Bloom-Carroll), and sophomores Brendon Raggiunti (Brampton, Ontario / Notre Dame Catholic Secondary) and Asher Donahue (Muncie, IN / Burris Laboratory School).
Miller, a defender, is a double major in computer science with a cybersecurity concentration and finance with a 4.0 GPA. He started all 18 games for the Tigers this year and logged five shots, with two coming on goal. As a defender, he played a vital role in the Tigers’ seven shutouts this season. It is the second time in his career that Miller has been recognized with Academic All-District honors.
LaVeck, a midfielder, is a biology major in the honors program who has a 3.73 GPA. This season, he started 17 games and played in 18. He logged three goals and four assists to come away with 10 points in the season as he took 22 shots, with nine on goal. It is the second year in a row that Laveck has earned Academic All-District recognition.
Raggiunti, a forward, is also a biology major and has a 3.96 GPA. He played in 17 games, starting 13 of them and was able to tally six points as he scored three goals on 27 shots, of which 14 were on goal.
Donahue, a forward, is in the honors program and is yet to declare a major and has a 3.92 GPA. He started 14 of the 17 games he played and led both the team and the NCAC in goals with 11 and points with 24. He also took 37 shots, with 27 of them coming on goal. Donahue earned first-team all-conference honors for the first time in his career.
The Tiger men’s soccer team finished eighth in the NCAC regular season standings with a 0-4-4 record while going 7-4-7 overall.
