Six Tiger Swim and Dve Athletes Earn Academic All-District Honors
SPRINGFIELD, OH — Six members of Wittenberg's men's and women's swimming and diving program have been named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving Academic All-District Teams for the 2025-26 season, the organization announced.
The CSC Academic All-District Team recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. To earn CSC Academic All-District distinction, student-athletes must be a sophomore or above in class standing with a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of at least 3.50 while meeting athletic participation requirements.
In swimming and diving, each men's team and each women's team is limited to four nominations per year. Selected Academic All-District honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America ballot (noted by asterisk on release from CSC). First-, Second-, and Third-Team Academic All-America honorees will be announced later this month.
On the men's side, Wittenberg is represented by senior Mason Steen (LeRoy, OH / Riverside) and sophomore Nathan Rabun (Marion, OH/ Wynford).
Steen is a biology and environmental science double major and has a 3.78 GPA. Steen scored points for the Tigers in most meets this season and the NCAC Championships for the Tigers and finished 19th in the 100 yard breaststroke as well.
Rabun majors in nursing and currently has a 3.52 GPA. Rabun competed in many relays during the season and in the NCAC Championship while also finishing in the top 30 of the 100 yard backstroke during the NCAC Championship.
The Tiger men's swimming and diving team finished 2-9 in dual meets in the 2025-26 season and placed ninth in the NCAC Championships.
For the Witt women, four Tigers were selected: seniors McKenna Clark (Waynesville, OH / Carroll) and Shania Stone (Cincinnati, OH / Princeton), junior Bekah Lebold (Mount Vernon, OH / Mount Vernon) and sophomore Kylie Paumi (Lexington, KY / Lafayette).
Clark is a mathematics major and has a 3.50 GPA currently. She scored points for the Tigers in a multitude of meets and in the NCAC Championship, placed in the top 30 in the 500 yard freestyle and the 200 yard freestyle as well.
Stone is a psychology major and boasts a 3.96 GPA. This past season, she set a program record in the 50 yard freestyle as she took 13th in the event during the NCAC Championship and was a top point scorer during the season and played a large part in relay teams throughout the year.
Lebold is majoring in environmental science and currently has a 3.79 GPA in her collegiate career. She was a scorer throughout the season, primarily in freestyle events and she was top 30 in the 50 yard freestyle in the NCAC Championship along with Stone back in February.
Paumi is a chemistry major and currently holds a 3.79 GPA. Paumi was one of the few and at times only diver that the Tigers had. At the NCAC Championship, she took 11th in the 1 meter diving event as well.
The Tiger women's swimming and diving team finished 7-4 in dual meets in the 2025-26 season before placing seventh in the NCAC Championships.
