DAYTON, Ohio - The Wittenberg Tigers, who are missing multiple players due to injury, found themselves on the short end of a 9-0 score against Ohio Wesleyan in a showdown between North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) rivals.
The loss dropped Wittenberg to 6-11 on the season. The match was played indoors at Dayton Center Courts due to unseasonably cold temperatures.
The Battling Bishops started with a doubles sweep and maintained that momentum through the singles courts as well.
Wittenberg now has eight days to practice before returning to competition. Next week the Tigers face road trips to their three NCAC West Division rivals - Denison on April 13 and then Wabash and DePauw on April 16.
