Men's Tennis Grabs Second Straight Win
BEREA, KY – Wittenberg Men's Tennis captured its second straight win and second victory overall as the Tigers defeated Berea College, 5-0, in the team's final Spring Break match at the Wilson Evans Tennis Complex on Sunday, March 15.
The Tigers played one doubles match with the first doubles team of Christian Droz (Brunswick, OH / Brunswick) and Sam Garay (Oakwood, OH / Oakwood) taking command to capture a 6-1 victory. Benjamin Glassman (Woodbridge, CT / Amity Regional) and Daniel Patel (Pittsburgh, PA / Shaler Area) also played in an exhibition doubles match and dominated, scoring the 6-0 win.
On the singles side, the Tigers won all four of their matches to triumph over Berea. Droz took No. 1 singles, posting a 6-3, 6-0 win. Garay won in two straight sets as well at 6-0 and 6-2 at No. 2 singles. Then at No. 3 singles, Glassman won, 6-0 and 6-0, and Patel defeated his opponent at No. 4 singles, also in scores of 6-0 and 6-0.

- Court 4: Patel won 6-0, 6-0
With the win, Wittenberg is now 2-2 overall. Berea is 0-5.
Next up, the Tigers will play their first North Coast Athletic Conference match of the season, hosting Ohio Wesleyan at the Albright Tennis Complex on March 21.
