Decathlon Win Earns Farfoglia NCAC Athlete of the Week Honors Once Again

Junior Nick Farfoglia (Manchester, MD/Manchester Valley) earned the decathlon title at the NCAC Outdoor Track and Field Combined Championships over the weekend with 6,161 total points, setting personal bests in five events along the way. Farfoglia won the long jump (6.41m) and pole vault (4.25m), placed second in the 110-meter hurdles (16.49), 100-meter dash (11.29) and high jump (1.85m), fifth in the discus (33.69m), sixth in the 1,500-meter run (5:07.68) and seventh in the shot put (10.34m), javelin (37.62m) and 400-meter dash (52.98). He earned personal bests in the 100-meter dash, 400-meter dash, high jump, discus and 1,500-meter run.
