Small's Big Weekend Earns NCAC Player of the Week Honors
The North Coast Athletic Conference has named sophomore Enri Small its women's Player of the Week after she scored 43 points in 23 hours.
CLEVELAND, Ohio — Wittenberg sophomore guard Enri Small (Columbus, Ohio/Columbus School For Girls) put together the first double-double of the Tigers' season and her own career against Hiram on Friday while doubling her personal best in rebounds with 14 and tying her high water mark for assists with four. She also totaled seven steals, good for the third-best single game total in team history. Then, 21 hours later, Small matched another career high with 23 points against Allegheny, eight coming all in a row to erase a 13-12 deficit and put Wittenberg up 20-13 in the first half, building a lead the Tigers never lost.
