Columbus, Ohio -- Wittenberg dropped the Saturday afternoon slate 70-50 to Capital University. The Tigers shot 42% from the field on the road, and only 22% from beyond the three-point line.
While the Tigers managed to show flashes of getting the offense moving, they were plagued throughout the game by turnovers. Taylore Bundy (Lewis Center, Ohio/Olentangy Orange) had a standout performance for Wittenberg, netting 15 points and grabbing two rebounds. Becca Ziska (Brook Park, Ohio/Berea-Midpark) complimented Bundy's efforts by scoring 13, including three first-half makes from behind the three-point line.
The Tigers travel back to Springfield to open up NCAC play Wedensday, December 2, against Ohio Wesleyan University at 7:30 p.m.
