Tigers Finish 14th at 2nd Round of Ohio Bowling Conference Meet
Columbus, OH - Wittenberg Women's Bowling was back in action as the Tigers participated in the second event of the 2024-25 Ohio Bowling Conference series. Wittenberg took 14th place with a team score of 4382.
The Tigers posted impressive outings on the afternoon as three bowlers earned top-50 finishes. Freshman Ryleigh Rasey (Richwood, OH / North Union) once again led the way for Witt as she earned a team-best 22nd-place finish with a total score of 719 pins over four games. Rasey logged a game-high in the second game with a score of 235.
Sophomore Chloe Steiner (Troy, OH / Sidney Lehman Catholic) placed 34th, totaling 686 pins, with her best match being the third one as she posted a score of 207. Freshman Cambryn Tom (Mechanicsburg, OH / Mechanicsburg) finished 44th with a total of 610 pins. Her top performance came in the second game with a score of 188.
Bridget Capper (Springfield, OH / Springfield) finished 51st overall with a cumulative score of 519 points, spanning three games, with her best game being her first with a score of 209. Freshman Grace Tyler (Christiansburg, OH / St. Paris Graham) continued the scoring for the Tigers, totaling 433 points over three games. Her top performance came in her last game as she tallied a score of 183. Sydney Wilson (Springfield, OH / Shawnee) capped off the scoring for Witt as she placed 76th with 253 points over two games.
Wittenberg returns to action on Saturday, November 9, for a two-day tournament at the Raider Classic hosted by Wright State at Beaver Vu Bowl in Beavercreek.
