Tiger Bowling Teams Enjoy Success In 2025-26 Season Opener
COLUMBUS, OH - Wittenberg's men's and women's club bowling teams kicked off the 2025-26 season with a pair of strong performances at the Ohio Bowling Conference 1 at Columbus Square Bowling Palace, highlighted by one individual top-10 finish each.
The Tiger women put five bowlers in the top 54 of the individual standings, led by Sydney Wilson (Springfield, OH / Shawnee) in sixth place with a total of 572 pins. As a team, Wittenberg finished eighth out of 14 teams in the Varsity competition.
The Tiger men were paced took 19th place in the 20-team field, with Jacob Terpenning (Beavercreek, OH / Beavercreek) excelling in his inaugural collegiate competition. Terpenning finished seventh with 633 pins in the Varsity competition.
Taylor Rausch (Mechanicsburg, OH / Mechanicsburg) was second among Wittenberg's women in 27th place with 485 pins, followed by Ryleigh Rasey (Richwood, OH / North Union) in 39th with 459 pins, Kendall Rausch (Mechanicsburg, OH / Mechanicsburg) in 45th with 432 pins, and Emma Crist (New Carlisle, OH / Tecumseh) in 54th with 365 pins.
Jackson Hill (New Carlisle, OH / Tecumseh) was second for Wittenberg's men in 64th place with 506 pins. He was followed by Amen Traudt in 72nd with 460 pins, Landon Kegley (Springfield, OH / Northwestern) in 78th with 419 pins, and Joel Martin in 87th with 358 pins.
Next up for Wittenberg Men's and Women's Bowling is the Roto Grip Classic, hosted by Wright State at Beaver Vu Bowl in Beavercreek, Ohio, on Saturday, Nov. 8.
