Tigers Finish Second In NCAC Championship Series #1
After holding narrow lead after Day 1, Wittenberg stands close second at midway point of four-round NCAC Championship Series.
DANVILLE, Ind. - The Wittenberg women's golf team went toe-to-toe with one of the nation's finest teams on its own tournament as the Tigers finished second in the North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) Championship Series #1, hosted by DePauw.
Ranked 22nd in the nation, Wittenberg held a three-stroke lead after the first round but fell to second behind eighth-ranked DePauw after the second round by three strokes.
