The Tigers carved out a two-day total of 684 (339-345), which was good for 13th-place in the 17-team field. Wisconsin-Whitewater earned the team title at the event with a 36-hole score of 607 (297-310), followed by IWU in second (609), DePauw in third (630), Carthage in fourth (640) and Grinnell in fifth (647).
Individually, senior Megan Selby shined for the Tigers in Illinois as she finished 16th out of 90 total golfers in the final standings with a two-day tally of 158. Selby fired a career-best 18-hole score of 75 in Saturday's opening round, before closing out the tournament with an 83 on Sunday to finish with 158 total strokes. Junior Erin Adams played consistent golf over the two days of competition with a 79 on Saturday and an 83 on Sunday to finish alone in 22nd with a 36-hole score of 162.
In addition, junior Jordan Jarrett finished as part of a three-way tie for 45th with a final score of 169 (87-82), while freshman Elizabeth Uhl finished in 86th-place with a two-day score of 195 (98-97).
Wittenberg will return to action next weekend, September 21-22, at DePauw University's Dan Quayle Invitational in Danville, Indiana.
