Tigers Finish Third In 2025 NCAC Women's Golf Championships
COLUMBUS, IN - Wittenberg Women's Golf improved its team score three straight days, with a strong final round pushing the Tigers into third place in the final standings of the 2025 North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) Women's Golf Championships.
Playing at the par-72, 5,870-yard Otter Creek Golf Course, Wittenberg posted scores of 341, 333, and 332 as a team over the three rounds of the event to finish at 1,006 strokes (142 over par). The Tigers trailed five-time defending champion Denison, which finished with a 54-hole score of 929 (303-316-310), and DePauw, which placed second with a 938 (312-312-314). Wooster led Wittenberg over the first two days, but the Tigers beat the Scots by 19 strokes in the third and final round to take third place.
Hillary Humbaugh (Haubstadt, IN / Gibson Southern) led the way for Wittenberg with an eighth-place finish overall. After struggling to an 85 in the opening round, Humbaugh was the low Tiger in both the second and third rounds with scores of 75 and 77.
Humbaugh was followed by Izzy Selby (Cincinnati, OH / Seton), who was consistent across three rounds with scores of 84, 80, and 83 to finish 11th with a total score of 247. Addie Yarbrough (Dublin, OH / Jerome) was the low Tiger in the opening round with an 80 en route to 15th place in the final standings with a total score of 257.
Anna Sinclair (Brownsburg, IN / Brownsburg) finished 18th with a three-day total of 266, and Taylor Rausch (Mechanicsburg, OH / Mechanicsburg) rounded things out for the Tigers in 19th with a total score of 273.
