Tigers Take Top-Three Finish For Second Straight Tourney
Meadville, PA - Wittenberg Women's Golf traveled to the Keystone State to compete in the Guy & Jeanne Kuhn Memorial Invatitional hosted by Allegheny College. The Tigers finished second out of eight teams with a total score of 638 (74-over-par). Carnegie Mellon took first place on the weekend at 25-over-par with a total of 593.
The top finisher for Wittenberg was Addie Yarbrough (Dublin, OH / Jerome), who finished seventh overall with a first round 78 (+7) and a second round 75 (+4) for a total of 153 (+11). Finishing next for the Tigers, tied for 8th, was Anna Sinclair (Brownsburg, IN / Brownsburg), carding a first round 78 (+7) and second round 79 (+8) to finish at 157 (+15). The next Wittenberg finisher was Izzy Selby (Cincinnati, OH / Seton) in 14th. She shot a total of 164 (+22) with a first round score of 79 (+8) and second round 85 (+14). The fourth finisher for the Tigers was Josie Adamson (Cincinnati, OH / Oak Hills), who carded a first-round 91 (+20) and second-round 77 (+6) to have a total score of 168 (+26) to be tied for 60th. Rose Yancey (Westerville, OH / North) was the final finisher for the Tigers in 21st. She shot a first round 87 (+16) and a second round 86 (+15) to finish with a total of 173 (+31).
The Tigers will be back on the course on October 4th, as they travel to Willoughby, Ohio to complete in the JCU Women's Fall Classic at Manakiki Golf Course.
