Tigers Take Fourth Place in NCAC Championships
WARREN, OH - The 2025-26 season came to an end fow Wittenberg Women's Golf with a fourth-place finish in the 2026 North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) Championships.
Playing at Avalon Golf and Country Club on an unseasonably cold weekend, the Tigers improved each day by carding rounds of 344, 336, and 330 to finish with an overall stroke count of 1,010 (146 over par). Denison led the way for a sixth straight year with a three-round total of 942, 25 strokes ahead of first-year program Kenyon and 26 strokes clear of DePauw.
The opening round on Friday was played in persistent rain and cold temperatures, and the round was suspended before the competitors could complete all 18 holes. The next two rounds were played under generally sunny skies, but with temperatures that remained well below average.
Anna Sinclair (Brownsburg, IN / Brownsburg) led the way individually for Wittenberg as she carded rounds of 82, 81, and 84 to finish in 14th place with a total of 247. She was followed closely by Addie Yarbrough (Dublin, OH / Jerome) in 15th place with a 248.
Izzy Selby (Cincinnati, OH / Seton) was next for the Tigers in 17th place with a total stroke count of 253. Josie Adamson (Cincinnati, OH / Oak Hills) placed 19th with a 262, and Taylor Rausch (Mechanicsburg, OH / Mechanicsburg) rounded things out for Wittenberg in 31st with a score of 290.
