Tiger Women's Lacrosse Upends Wooster 18-8
Carrie Kubasta led the Tigers with six goals on Wednesday, while Olivia Lash netted five goals for the fourth straight game.

WOOSTER, Ohio—Wittenberg women's lacrosse improved to 11-3 in 2016 as the Tigers downed NCAC rival Wooster by ten goals, 18-8. The Tigers were led offensively in the game by seniors Carrie Kubasta (Medina, Ohio/Medina) with six goals, and Olivia Lash (Cleveland Heights, Ohio/Cleveland Heights) who netted five goals for the fourth straight game. The Tigers win puts the team in great position in NCAC play, as they are now 5-2 with one regular season NCAC game remaining.
GAME BREAKDOWN
- In the first half of Wednesday night's game, Kubasta and Lash combined for seven total goals as the Tigers led 11-5 at the break.
- Becca Joseph (Toledo, Ohio/St.Ursula) contributed two goals and an assist in the first half, as the junior collected five total assists in the victory.
