Women's Lacrosse Picked to Finish Eighth by NCAC Coaches

CLEVELAND, OH — The Wittenberg women's lacrosse team was picked to finish eighth in the North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) in the 2026 Preseason Coaches' Poll, which was released on Monday, February 9.
The Tigers received eight points in the poll. Denison was picked as the conference favorite with eight first-place votes and 64 points, Wooster was second with 43 points, and John Carroll and Kenyon tied for third with 41.
Led by first-year Head Coach Daniel Shields, the Tigers open their 2026 season at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 21, in an away game against Ohio Northern. Wittenberg opens NCAC play on Saturday, April 4 at Oberlin.
