Tiger Women's Soccer To Host Golf Outing Fundraiser Aug. 2
Tee Off with the Tigers is set to take place Saturday, Aug. 2, at Cedar Trace Golf Club to raise money for team's training trip to Europe in December 2014.
Springfield, Ohio – Wittenberg University’s women’s soccer program will host a golf outing titled “Tee Off with the Tigers” to raise funds for the program starting at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 2, at Cedar Trace Golf Club in Batavia, Ohio.
The golf outing is a four-person scramble with a shotgun start. The cost of participation is $75 per person, which includes golf with a cart and a dinner served at the end of the round. A silent auction will also take place during the day.
Funds raised through Tee Off with the Tigers will go toward the costs of the team’s trip to Europe in December 2014. The Tigers are planning a two-week training trip that will include stops in Paris, London, Brussels and Edinburgh, where the student-athletes will participate in cultural opportunities and a community service project while also playing games against top international teams.

In addition to the golf outing, the women’s soccer program is welcoming members into the Wittenberg Women’s Soccer Tiger Club, which provides financial resources to support the program, including facility upgrades, coaching positions and equipment.
