Tiger Teams Fall To Perennial National Power DePauw
GREENCASTLE, Ind. - Coming into the second meet in as many days, the Tigers men's and women's swimming and diving teams were dealt their first dual meet defeats of the season, with the men falling 185-115, while the women dropped the meet 168-129.

On the men's side, junior Taylor Smith (Mansfield, Ohio/Senior) led the way, as he took a victory in the 100-yard backstroke. Also capturing a top spot for the Red and White was sophomore Conor O'Rourke (Mendham, N.J./Canterbury School), as he claimed the 200 butterfly. Sophomore Chris Culkin (Novi, Mich./Northville) continued his early season success with a double win in the 500 and 1000 freestyle events.
As for the women, Head Coach Natalie Koukis' squad was led by freshman Cecilia Wille (Knoxville, Tenn./Farragut) and her victory in the 200 freestyle. Meanwhile, sophomore Megan Shubitowski (Columbus, Ohio/Watterson) claimed both diving victories and the one and three meter heights.
Wittenberg will now prepare itself for another home meet, coming up this Saturday, Nov. 15 from the HPER Center Natatorium. The events are set to kick off at 1 p.m.
