Incoming Student-Athletes & Parents
Welcome Incoming Student-Athletes and Parents,
Welcome to Wittenberg University! We’re excited to have you join the Tiger family. As part of your transition, there are a few important steps you must complete *before* participating in any team activities.
What You Need to Do
- Set Up Your ATS Account
ATS is our online system for medical documentation. This is where your medical records will be stored as a Wittenberg University Student-Athlete.
- Please refer to the First-Year Student-Athlete Packet
- ATS Portal Log-In
- Submit Injury or Illness History (if applicable)
If you’ve had an injury or illness requiring physician care, surgery, imaging, or physical therapy, upload supporting documentation (office notes, clearance, etc.) through ATS. Missing documentation may delay your clearance.
- Get a Physical Exam Wittenberg
Wittenberg *does not* provide physical exams. You must complete a physical with a licensed physician before arriving on campus.
Deadline
All forms and documentation must be submitted by July 18. Having difficulties? Watch our instructional video about how to complete the necessary forms
What Happens Next
Our Certified Athletic Trainers and Team Physicians will review your submitted materials. We’ll contact you directly if we need anything else.
Your official clearance will occur during a scheduled on-campus meeting with our Sports Medicine staff. Your coach will let you know the time and location.
Congratulations again on becoming a Wittenberg Tiger. We’re here to support your health and success from day one.
