Wittenberg to Host Wide Range of Summer Youth Sports Camps
SPRINGFIELD, OH – Summertime means camp time at Wittenberg University’s Health, Wellness & Athletics Complex. Ten different Tiger programs, including men’s basketball, women’s basketball, cheerleading, field hockey, men’s soccer, women’s soccer, men’s and women’s track and field, and women’s volleyball, will be hosting camps this summer.
The men’s basketball program is hosting high school team one-day shootouts on June 10, 19, and 20, with a day camp scheduled from June 15-18. A Future Tigers Camp will then take place on Sunday, Aug. 23. For more information, contact Head Coach Darren Hertz at hertzd@wittenberg.edu.
The women’s basketball team is also hosting a series of camps beginning with team shootouts on June 4-5 and June 12-13. The 2026 School of Hoops will take place on Sunday, June 7. For more information, contact Head Coach Melissa Kolbe at kolbem@wittenberg.edu.

The Wittenberg Women's Volleyball will host an All Skills Youth Camp, led by Head Coach Evelyn Miller, will both take place July 6-8. Skills sessions will take place, July 9-10, and the Elite Witt Camp will be on Sunday, July 12. There will also be a Varsity Tournament on Saturday, July 11. The Varsity Tournament is a one-day summer competition designed for high school varsity teams (grades 9–12) to compete in a structured tournament environment.
